I am an embarrassment to my Finnish heritage because I always hated to skate growing up.  My son on the other hand is an extremely good skater and hockey player.   The ‘Father and Son Game’ design was invented during my invitation to play hockey on the Fathers’ team versus my son’s Squirt A team.   It was not my best moment as an athlete.   We chose to include this card in our 2011 line because hockey sells well in Minnesota, and that is because everybody seems to be a hockey player or fan.
